We’re looking for 8-10 mentors to join us for a day of fun and adventure with 25 to 30 foster kids! We’ll board a bus at 9am for a short 1 hour drive to Hassayampa River Preserve in Wickenburg where we’ll explore and photograph around the beautiful area. We’ll enjoy a catered lunch at the trail before heading to Wittman to meet 30+ alpacas at Desert Mirage Alpaca Ranch. The bus becomes the classroom as we prepare the kids on the drive up and go through their image-files on the drive back. We will return at 3pm, in time for you to enjoy your Saturday night. These True North trips are a wonderful experience for all!
Small breakfast sandwiches, a catered lunch, and waters will be provided. If you have any food allergies or restrictions, please let us know in the comment box. You are welcome to bring anything additional you’d like. Each mentor is asked to help out with small tasks throughout the day, such as helping distribute food, backpacks, and cameras, helping with games and role-call on the bus, etc.
