Call for Mentors: Grads in Focus Phoenix History Workshop with the Phoenix Mayor’s Office

In Honor of Phoenix History Week, Kids in Focus is partnering with the Phoenix Mayor’s Office to host a very special Grads in Focus Workshop and Phoenix History Walking Tour and we’d love for you to mentor!

This opportunity will be for 15 Grads in Focus youth, ages 10-18. Kids and mentors will receive and be a part of a special experience and project learning about and photographing 3-5 historic buildings in downtown Phoenix.

Date/Time: Sat. Feb. 3, 10-12 pm

Schedule: 

10:00 Meet at Hotel San Carlos

Walking Photography Tour Locations:  The Orpheum, San Carlos, and Historic City Hall are the primary 3 buildings, with Orpheum Lofts and Walker building likely, if time.

* The walking tour will start at the San Carlos

Education on the history of each building will happen at the San Carlos prior to the photography.
