Hello Friends & Supporters,
I am sad to announce the April 9th Exhibit Opening has been postponed. Tempe Center for the Arts has suspended all events through the end of April. We are actively working to find a new date for the Exhibit Opening, and we will send out a new invitation once the details have been consummated.
This event means the world to these kids, and we are committed to providing them with an evening that they will never forget. Your attendance at this event is an important piece of the kids’ self-confidence taking flight that night, so we sincerely hope to see you at the rescheduled Exhibit Opening.

YOU make a difference just by showing up! Bring your friends and family to enjoy an inspirational evening with food and music. Meet the kids and be amazed by their work.
Twenty-one local volunteer photographers mentored 42 at-risk youth through a 9-week exploration of their world, using the safe aperture of a camera to help them gain a new perspective on the world and themselves. Meet the kids and their mentors, see 84 images by the kids, and celebrate their achievements. It’s an inspirational event you don’t want to miss!
The participating youth are students at Sequoia Deaf School, Children First Leadership Academy, and Boys and Girls Club Guadalupe.
Images and exhibition books will be available for purchase.
The free public exhibit remains on display in the lobby through April 11 then moves to Scottsdale Civic Center Library from April 13 to May 31.
Parking at TCA has changed recently. You have two free options, both accessible by turning north at the light at Hardy & Rio Salado (one block west of TCA). To avoid paying for garage parking, be sure to pick up a validation sticker inside at the lobby desk. If the garage is full, you can also park in the gravel lot for no charge (a five-minute walk or complimentary shuttle). Handicap accessible parking is available in the garage as well as in the south lot off the main driveway.
