Kids in Focus stays connected with the students who participate in our programs through the alumni program Grads in Focus. We use a private online forum to create a safe space for the mentors and alumni to share their latest photography projects continuing to use this artform as the point of connection for inspiration and personal growth. Community-building outings are held each quarter, giving the Grads positive milestone events and opportunities to spend time with their fellow student alumni and their mentors.
The Grads & Junior Mentors Programs allow our students to continue their relationship with Kids in Focus and their mentors, to have leadership roles and positive characteristics of adults in their lives.

Our continuum of leadership training with Grads of the After School Program focuses on honing their leadership skills while developing essential qualities to empower them to guide, inspire, and positively impact the younger students in the Kids in Focus program. These young leaders become insightful junior mentors to their Kids in Focus peers participating with them in activities and on outings.
