Below is a list of committees and their descriptions.
Grad Committee

- Plan, execute, and attend (if possible) fun activities/field trip locations for the Quarterly Grad Outings along with the Annual Grad Picnic (Sep.-early Dec.).
- Create and implement ways to increase engagement with the Grads and Mentors on social media or other platforms.
- Continuous Communication Outreach to the kids and parents to update profile information and notify of Grad Outings.
Recruiting Committee

- Actively recruit new mentors by contacting and informing local photography groups, organizations, university/college photography departments about Kids in Focus.
- Phone call follow-ups to Volunteer Applicants.
- Create and implement social media recruitment campaigns.
- Locate DSLR donations for the kids along with testing all donated equipment.
Lifeline Committee

- Serve as Liaison for kids/families
- Research and document social services resources and refer kids/families when needed.
- Provide educational support including assist with school enrollment
- Provide housing support (eviction, change of housing, emergency housing)
- Follow-up with assigned CPS case-workers
Fundraising and Event Committee

- This committee will work closely with the Development Director to assist in planning, executing, raising awareness and funds for various fundraising and events such as the annual fundrasier: Noche para los Niños (Feb.- Oct.).
- Help secure new donors, supporters, and corporate sponsorships by educating about KIF and Tax Credit.
